Monet Piebald

 (VgVg/nVg) + (nPb+r)

Monet piebald is an extremely rare mutation of the piebald and Van Gogh piebald genes.
When Restricted Piebald interacts with Van Gogh it creates a beautiful, splattered paint affect on the coat.

How to Design a Monet

Like Van Gogh piebalds, Monet piebalds have two major aspects
of their coat: larger patches of color, and spotting/mottling.

Patch Sizes/Areas

The red areas resemble the range of the de-pigmented fur (or white spots).

On the left is the minimum range for the white markings expressed on the design.
It's not limited to just the collar, but rather an example of the amount of white that needs to be present on the tokota.

On the right is the maximum range for the white markings expressed on the design.
Monet always expresses from the middle of the body out and is rarely present on the legs, face, and neck.

Spot Sizes and Areas

The next aspect of the design is the spotting/splatter pattern.
This is what sets them apart from their normal piebald counterparts.

The spotting can occur anywhere on the body, but is rarely found on the face and legs.
Placement and spottiness is up to you, but make sure it falls
between the minimum and maximum as shown below:

What do to and what not to do:

Monet spots and splatters should not be polka dot like or resemble lacing.
They should be a mixture of large and small spots, irregular and natural looking.

While Monet piebald can have different textured edges, make sure to not make them too blurry or too feathered.

While there is no maximum spot size, make sure to not give your design "giraffe syndrome."
Also be careful to not make your spots look like ticking, or flecking!

Design Notes:

- Monet can be expressed in multiple different ways as long as it fits the "spotty/splatter look."
- To create a Monet, try making a regular piebald and then adding lots of spots to it!
- Alternatively, you can make an "appaloosa" pattern and then erase it into a piebald pattern.

Just wondering, when a monet is bred, will they only produce monet or is there a chance of throwing van gogh or restricted as well?
